I do research and consulting on various topics in science and technology. I was the founding editor of The Latecomer, an online magazine which published essays on the long-term future.
I have a PhD in religion from Rice University with a dissertation on the philosophy of Nick Land. My other academic areas include Buddhist philosophy and the history of Buddhism in America.
